Recipes of the Month-Mung Bean Salad

Mung Bean Salad
For 5-7 serving
2 cups of Sprouted mung beans
1/2 cup chopped red cabbage
1/2 cup pickled cucumber or any veggie mix
2 Tbs-a cup kimchee (optional)
1/2-1 cups dehydrated spicy sunflower and /or pumpkin seeds
1/2-1cup chopped greens like Arugula, Kale, spinach
2 Tbs minced watercress (optional)
2 Tbs cup minced red and green onion
Juice of 1/4 lemon
1/4t salt or to taste
1/8 t black pepper or taste
1 Tbs cup sesame oil (optional)

Mix all ingredients and enjoy with or without cilantro chutney
* To make spicy dehydrated sunflower/pumpkin seed mix: Take 2 cup soaked sunflower/pumpkin seed for 4-6hrs. Mix I t salt, I t curry, I t cumin, juice of ½ lemon, pinch of cayenne and black pepper and dehydrate for 6 to 10 hrs until it become crunchy.

Recipes of the Month- Sweet and Sour Cranberry Cookies

Sweet and Sour Cranberry Cookies

1cup raw un-soaked sesame seed
1cup un-soaked shredded coconut
1 cup soaked and drained walnuts. If you can dehydrate after soaking, that would be even better.
Pinch salt
5.6 dried apricots
5 pitted medjool dates
1/2 cup fresh cranberries or 1/4 cup dreid cranberries
for more sweet, add 2Tbs Maple syrup or Honey
Decorate cookies with fresh cranberries.
Yield 7-10 cookies

• Combine all ingredients and process in a food processor.
• Make cookie size patties.
• Keep in a refrigerator, or freeze for long shelf life.

My Grandmother’s gift to you.

Grand Ma`s delicious Spicy Chutney


I was on the process fixing dinner for family and myself.  I decided to make something special – something similar my grandmother used to make with the difference  of no oil cooking, frying or grilling.  Suddenly I remembered her spicy Tomato-Onion Chutney, just thinking of that my mouth became watery. I did not remember what was there beside tomatoes and red onion, salt and cayenne. But test was still fresh in my heart. So I gave a try to create raw version of it. It came out so great that my wife end of eating double of soup then what she would eat normally.

are you ready…here you go..


1 cup chopped tomato or one big tomato

1 cup chopped red onion

2 Tbs sesame oil

1Tbs-2Tbs lemon juice

1tsp unpasteurized miso

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/4-1/2 tsp cayenne

Blend above ingredients  and mix i finely chopped

1/4 cup tomatoes

1/4 cup red onion

2 Tbs basil or any other fresh herbs (Optional)

Enjoy with rice, quinoa, and any green salad, soup or even with sandwich.
